About Us
Nagamochi Shop is an online-only store based in Toronto, offering sustainably crafted, long-lasting goods for everyday life and self-care. Alongside practical items, we also feature a selection of beautiful art pieces and curated cultural books.
All products are thoughtfully sourced from Japan and Canadian local artisans and curated by Mami and Meg, two Japanese women living in Canada who share a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and tradition.
We believe that incorporating long-lasting, thoughtfully made goods into our daily lives creates a small but powerful ripple effect , one that encourages a more intentional lifestyle and a healthier planet.

Who We Are
Nagamochi Shop is a small side project lovingly run by two Japanese women, Mami and Meg.
We're an online-only store (so, no physical storefront) .
We work on this shop in between our other jobs, driven by our shared passion to share our favorite finds with friends and like-minded people.
Since it's just the two of us, it might take a little time to respond, but we’re always happy to hear from you and love connecting with our community.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out or send us a message on Instagram!

The meaning of Nagamochi
The word nagamochi means “long-lasting,” “durable,” or “wears well” in Japanese. It’s also the name of a large, oblong wooden chest once used in households to store fabrics and daily essentials, a fitting symbol for the kind of enduring, meaningful items we love.
