This little kitchen tool has been my favourite since I was too young to cook!
Growing up, I remember my grandma using a stainless steel measuring spoon to make Yomogi mochi for us every time she visited. I loved the sound it made and the Surikiri Stick that measured the perfect amount like a magic.
In my mother’s generation, a lot of companies started making plastic measuring spoons which looked cute and colourful. But most of them didn’t have Srikiri.
Now I am again using these Stainless steel measuring spoons with Surikiri which looks almost exactly as they did when my grandma was using them, simple and light.
