Kuwahara Bamboo Craft Shop
Established in 1902, the Kuwabara Bamboo Craft Shop produces traditional daily use items in Yatsushiro City Kumamoto Japan.
There used to be more than a dozen bamboo craftsmen in this area, but now Mr. Kuwabara is the only one.
Each piece of bamboo craftwork is carefully handcrafted by Mr. Kuwabara, who handles the entire process from splitting the bamboo to manufacturing.
