HARIO's V60 dripper is such a popular dripper that even coffee baristas competing at the top of the world barista competitions use it.
The conical shape used by the V60 allows a deeper layer of coffee grounds vertically, so that the poured hot water spends more time in contact with the coffee grounds, allowing the flavour and aroma to be extracted thoroughly.
Another feature of the V60 dripper is the 12 spiral ribs inside. This prevents the dripper and filter from sticking together and allows air to escape easily. This also helps to maximize the effect of steaming by facilitating smooth extraction.
