An artbook by Tokyo based Polish illustrator Mateusz Urbanowicz who is well known for his artwork collection books "Tokyo Storefronts" and "Tokyo at Night" and also for background art projects of awards winning Japanese animations.
This book is a collection of illustrations, mainly watercolour paintings, that the author has drawn over the past 12 years since around 2010.
It contains a series of works depicting Japanese towns and buildings from a unique perspective along with the author's notes, allowing the reader to follow the record of the author's 12 year dialogue with cozy townscapes and nostalgic landscapes.

About Author: Mateusz Urbanowicz
Born in Poland in 1986. After graduating from Kobe Design University, where he studied manga and animation, he joined the animation studio Comics Wave Film in 2013. He has worked on many background art projects such as "The Case of Hana & Alice" and "Your Name".
