Vintage Square Soy Sauce Dish with Plum Blossom Relief

This small dish features a beautifully rendered plum blossom motif in yōkoku (relief carving), gently rising from the smooth white porcelain surface. Dating to the late Edo period (1700-1800s), it is believed to have been hand-produced in large quantities. The cobalt blue underglaze shows an unevenness typical of its time, adding a sense of warmth and unique charm.
Though signs of age are present, the piece retains a lovely gloss and a refined finish.
Its deep blue tones contrast elegantly with gold, making it an ideal dish for showcasing jewelry or small treasures.
