This small furoshiki is just right for wrapping up a lunch box.
The simple patterns that bring out the shapes of colourful foods will make your lunch look delicious.
It's a thin cotton fabric that is easy to tie. It is printed with a dyeing method that makes the difference between the two sides of the fabric less noticeable.

It can be also used as a handkerchief or a hand towel.

Made by Tenugui specialist “KAMAWANU”

Kamawanu specializes in the production of Tenugui. Tenugui is a hand-dyed basically rectangular cloth that has been traditionally used in Japan for a variety of purposes such as handkerchief to wipe hands and faces, Furoshiki (wrapping cloth), fashion accessory and cleaning.

Tenugui are made with the hand-dyeing technique called "Chusen," which has been used since the Meiji era (1868-1912), over 100 years ago, and its sophisticated texture and appearance have been passed down to the present day by craftsmen.

Since its establishment in 1987, Kamawanu has developed more than 500 different patterns for Tenugui and scarves and has also trained pupils to bring a new style to the tradition of hand-dyeing.
